"Soichiro" is the first "official" single of the sophomore album of Arca, Mutant. Although the track “Vanity” had been uploaded to Arca’s Soundcloud in May, it originally wasn’t marketed for Mutant, making “Soichiro” the first single and music video for the album.
Soichiro is one of Arca's best songs. Discussion. It's on the longer side, the second longest on mutant, so I assume she put in considerable effort on it. It feels decedent, sweet, and gives a taste of horror that makes the world of Arca so gorgeous.
