Recently realised that I'll likely be leaving uni with a 2.2 and I feel pretty bad about it. I really don't like my course, (maths and comp sci) but I'm in final year so there's no point in changing now.

A 2:2 is definitely not as desirable as a 2:1 or a first, and will probably limit some prospects, but it’s not the end of the world. Most graduate schemes want a 2:1/1st but there are alternative paths, you’ll just have to work harder and smarter to find them.

Jul 1, 2020 · Some unis like Birmingham tell you your GPA as well as degree class, which distinguishes high 2:1 from low 2:1 students. There's some appetite for it, but there needs to be more standardisation of this across the HE sector before employers are going to start using it in job adverts.
