The Visitor Information Centre is located in the iconic Leigh-Pemberton House, inbetween the Castle and the Cathedral. Dating back to 1543, this half-timbered building was originally a wealthy merchant's house, before later becoming an inn. From 1899-1979 it served as a bank, undergoing extensive restoration during that time frame.
