Le Chesnay ( French pronunciation: [lə ʃɛnɛ] ⓘ) is a former commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt. [2] It is located in the western suburbs of Paris, 16.7 km (10.4 mi) from the center of Paris .

Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt (French pronunciation: [lə ʃɛnɛ ʁɔkɑ̃kuʁ] ⓘ) is a commune in the western suburbs of Paris, in the department of Yvelines. It was established on 1 January 2019 from the amalgamation of the communes of Le Chesnay and Rocquencourt .
