Beautiful park with a lot of places to seat. Nov 2019. A very nice clean and well-kept park. Kelvingrove Park was originally created as the West End Park in 1852. The park covers 34 hectares and is situated in Glasgow's West End. It is straddled by the Kelvin River shortly before the river reaches Clyde.

Amazing space in the centre of the city. We visited the Museum and had a quick visit to the Arts Centre (Clip and Climb). The park offers great views of Glasgow’s architecture, as well as gives access to green spaces. And the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great place to visit on a beautiful sunny day in Glasgow and it just happened to be the Dandelion Festival which was showcasing music and dance, climate action, food and plants, a nursery for the children and exploring sustainabilty in various forms. A large selection of food stalls and trucks giving a great variety of street foods.
