Jun 14, 2020 · To my surprise, I can confirm that the updates are still working. Yesterday I wiped and reconfigured my PlayBook and it surprised me with a "software update" that was, basically, 2.1.0.1917. Same thing that was on board... but it downloaded it again! Took like 20 minutes, and then I was back on the setup menu.

Try the Screen Reader for BBID again. Some devices need this (Power button, Vol - button, Vol + button) done a few times before the Screen Reader speaks about BBID.

Jun 24, 2015 · There are basically 2 forms of reset: a "hard" or "cold" reset, and a "soft" or "warm" reset. Most of the time, a "soft" reset is all that's necessary, but sometimes you need to take it a bit further. I recommend trying a soft reset first, and if that doesn't work, try a hard reset.
