  2. Dec 22, 2021 · The data that you can view at icloud.com is data that is synced to iCloud (e.g., iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, synced Contacts, Notes, etc.). You cannot view the contents of an iCloud Backup. Also note that when you do a restore of an iCloud Backup, the apps are downloaded from the App Store. They are not stored in iCloud with the Backup.

    You can view and manage your iCloud backups from an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Windows computer.

    1.On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.

    2.Do one of the following:

    •iOS 16, iPadOS 16, or later: Tap iCloud Backup.

    •iOS 15, iPadOS 15, or earlier: Tap Manage Storage, then tap Backups.

    1.On your Mac, do one of the following:

    •macOS 13 or later: Choose Apple menu > System Settings, click [your name] at the top of the sidebar, then click iCloud.

    •macOS 12 or earlier: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Apple ID, then click iCloud.

    2.Click Manage, then click Backups. A list of devices that have iCloud Backup turned on is shown.

    1.Open iCloud for Windows, then click Storage.

    2.Click Backups on the left. On the right, you see devices with iCloud Backup turned on.

    3.To delete a backup, select a device, then click Delete.

    Note: If you turn off iCloud Backup for a device, any backups stored in iCloud are kept for 180 days before being deleted.
