Look for the reset/test button. It is a rectangular rubber button on the right side of the ice maker. For 2010 and later models, press the reset button until you hear a chime. For older Samsung refrigerators, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds before releasing.
Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds, and wait for a single chime. Don't press the test button repeatedly, as water may overflow or jam ice. Reinstall the ice bucket to capture any water. A chime will signal the cycle is running, and will stop when the cycle is done.
