The modern age for Chateau La Louviere begins in 1965 when the well-known Lurton family purchased Chateau La Louviere from the Taquet family. The Taquet family had been the owners of Chateau La Louviere since the early part of the 20th century.

Tasted in June 2021. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. It was a very stylish wine with finesse end elegance showing the aroma of green apple and lemongrass, fresh and crispy, and a persistent finish. Always a very reliable wine and great value for money from this property. - Izak Litwar / BWW2024 Finalist.
