May 24, 2022 · Tottenham, London: Tottenham Hotspur Limited (the “Club” or “Spurs”) has, today, Tuesday 24 May 2022, agreed a capital increase of up to £150m from majority shareholder, ENIC Sports Inc (“ENIC”), via the issue of convertible A Shares and accompanying warrants.
Tottenham Hotspur’s owner has been the ENIC Group, including chairman Daniel Levy and Joe Lewis, since December 2000. It gained full control of Spurs from Sir Alan Sugar in 2007. The ENIC Group first purchased a majority stake in the Premier League outfit by increasing its shareholding to 29.9%.
