Jul 10, 2012 · I'd actually recommend that you don't use AOL Desktop if you can avoid it. It's a bloated piece of software which is entirely unnecessary. You can set up the Apple Mail app to receive your AOL mail, you can set up iChat with your AOL buddy list, and you can browse the web using Safari.
