Now, it's a newer and better and tastier restaurant called Kungfu Kitchen (new owner and management as well). The taste and price of the dishes were really good. $176 post-tax, pre-tip, for five entrees and four appetizers is a steal!

May 1, 2024 · Last month, Peter Chang Gaithersburg opened at 637 N Frederick Ave, in the space previously occupied by Ichiban Restaurant, which closed in September 2021 after 35 years in business. Kung Fu Kitchen’s opening was first reported by Rockville Nights.
This new location is beautifully decorated and more casual than the former Peter Chang's in Rockville Town Center. They offer some of the dishes from before but smaller snack portions at a lower price.
