- On the initial setup screen, tap the Skip button many times as fast as you can. This will blow past all the setup screens. If you reach the BlackBerry Desktop Software screen, you went one screen too far. Go back once, then tap Done. If you get stuck on a screen, go back to Wifi or earlier screen and try tapping Skip quickly again.

Nov 6, 2013 · I performed a security wipe and am going through the set-up process to get it working on my BB-ID. When I get to the "Agreement" screen, it presents a field for country, and a "drop down". The field is blank, as is the drop down menu.
Blackberry Playbook: Can't get past "Agreement" page on setup. Found this in my girlfriends storage and did a factory reset on it. Boots up fine but going through the setup routine I get stuck on the "Agreement" page. The drop down doesn't show any country.
If you don't have experience with BB10, DM me and we'll go through some fundamentals including autoloaders so you know how best to use the Passport once you get it past the wifi screen. You do not need a SIM card no; you can use it on wifi only.
Unfortunately all links I could still find are dead. I did a few tests on 2.1.0.1917 to get around the agreement screen but seems like it could be impossible. Here are my observations so far: I've set up a mitmproxy to look at the traffic during the setup process.

Mar 23, 2020 · The other issue is lack of support by hardware manufacturers. Qualcomm, maker of the chipset used in most Android phones, only supports their hardware for 3 years. That makes support by phone makers beyond 3 years difficult. The best anyone can expect is 3 years operating system support and 4 years security support.
