- On the initial setup screen, tap the Skip button many times as fast as you can. This will blow past all the setup screens. If you reach the BlackBerry Desktop Software screen, you went one screen too far. Go back once, then tap Done. If you get stuck on a screen, go back to Wifi or earlier screen and try tapping Skip quickly again.

Nov 6, 2013 · I performed a security wipe and am going through the set-up process to get it working on my BB-ID. When I get to the "Agreement" screen, it presents a field for country, and a "drop down". The field is blank, as is the drop down menu.

If you don't have experience with BB10, DM me and we'll go through some fundamentals including autoloaders so you know how best to use the Passport once you get it past the wifi screen. You do not need a SIM card no; you can use it on wifi only.
Press and hold the "Blackberry" logo you'll see on the screen which says "Your device is now connected to the Internet." Press the End Call/Power button on your device. Your device should exit to the main BB10 home screen with visible apps. Let us know if you have any trouble!

Mar 23, 2020 · Some newer phones have similar issues. Newer Android phones may be locked after a reset until the former account ID is entered. I ran into this recently but, fortunately, still had my account information. I assume it's to deter theft. Meanwhile, don't reset your phone to get around losing your account credentials. It may not work.
