Havre de Grace (/ h æ v ər d ɪ ˈ ɡ r eɪ s /), abbreviated HdG, is a city in Harford County, Maryland, United States. It is situated at the mouth of the Susquehanna River and the head of Chesapeake Bay .

Havre de Grace is a small city of approximately 15,000 residents (2020) in northeastern Maryland. Named by General Lafayette, it was attacked by the Royal Navy during the War of 1812.
