If Demonoid's admins had site backups they easily could have had the site back up in under a day on another host. Instead, 4 months later it comes limping back online, that makes no sense. It's also known that the original server was handed over to the US government.
Demonoid died out, and there have been multiple supposed resurrection efforts, many (all?) with no connection to the original in anything but name, long after torrenting exploded and plenty of superior options launched.
Jun 22, 2014 · No, of course not. You don't even need to be a member to access any of the torrents at Demonoid. Plus they don't run their own private tracker regardless. The Demonii open tracker project is exactly that, an open tracker project.. it has existed long before Demonoid ever came back.
