Jan 1, 2001 · It's a worthy 1300 or so pages, and not a slog to get through since it thankfully has no narrative arc at all. The only other book i've come across that is as useful AND interesting is the Harvard Graduate School of Design Guide to Shopping, also largely compiled under Koolhaas' supervision.
