Antonio Vivaldi (1678–1741) was one of the most productive composers of the Baroque era in classical music, famous for the 'Four Seasons' violin concertos.
He also became active as a composer - in 1711 twelve concertos he had written were published in Amsterdam by the music publisher Estienne Roger under the title l'Estro armonico (Harmonic Inspiration).
