Geir Bakke was presented as assistant coach in Stabæk on 29 August 2008, the day after his resignation in Moss. He replaced Petter Belsvik and signed a three-year contract with the club. [ 2 ] On 10 November 2011 it was announced that Bakke was leaving Stabæk to become head coach in Kristiansund BK .
