Limpsfield is a village and civil parish in Surrey, England, at the foot of the North Downs close to Oxted railway station and the A25. [2] The composer Frederick Delius , orchestral conductor Sir Thomas Beecham and clarinettist Jack Brymer are buried in the village churchyard.
Set in the leafy Surrey countryside at the foot of the North Downs, the pretty parish of Limpsfield borders the town of Oxted and is easily accessible by train (via Oxted station from London Bridge and Victoria) and the M25/A25.

Limpsfield has been mentioned in historical accounts since the Domesday Book. It’s a fascinating village that still retains a number of buildings dating back to the 12th Century, including St Peter’s Church and Old Court Cottage.
