You can struggle to publish it and barely scrape by publishing it elsewhere, but Amazon is probably the best place for it. Make a decent cover, upload it, put it in KU Select, then write another. Rapid fire is the key. Lots of 3-5k stories priced at.99c, then when you have 5 or so, put a compilation up at $2.99.
