Heli is a 2013 Mexican crime drama film directed by Amat Escalante and produced by Jaime Romandía. Featuring newcomers Armando Espitia, Andrea Vergara, Linda González, and Juan Eduardo Palacios, the film premiered in competition for the Palme d'Or at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival . [1]
It's when the female detective tries to seduce Heli that Heli finally reacts against authority and is able to escape his position of abuse. It's this action that ultimately allows the final scene to come to fruition, which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful final shots of any film I've seen.

Set in a ravaged town in rural Mexico, Escalante's film shows a country enslaved by the drugs trade, its authorities corrupted and its people living in poverty and fear.
