  2. Jun 13, 2022 · The Alpha's were a great bang for your buck. Great value cymbals. I had a couple of the older style cymbals before Paiste revamped the line. Great sounding cymbals and there isn't something 100% matching in the current catalog. 900 series comes close to the original Alpha's while the PST8's look more like the revamped ones.

Wonderful stick definition, and wash when played open. Suitable for just about any type of music. The Rides all fall into a "Rock" kind of sound. Lots of volume, and "ping".
