Levkas Man was adapted into a six-episode mini television series by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), which aired from 18 March until 22 April 1981. It was a joint Australian–British–West German production, and was shot on location in Greece.
Interestingly this was an Australian/German co-production and does seem to have been shot on location - presumably in Greece where the book's action is set. It is interesting that another Innes novel - Golden Soak - was also jointly produced by Australian and German backers - presumably there was an interest in his books in Germany at that time.
