The Atlantics are an Australian surf band founded in 1961. Initially, the band line-up consisted of drummer Peter Hood, bassist Bosco Bosanac, Theo Penglis on lead and rhythm guitar, and guitarist Eddy Matzenik.

After completing their European tour in 2013 The Atlantics have announced their retirement from live touring. “We wish to thank all our fans and friends that have supported us throughout the years by buying our records and coming to our gigs and concerts.
