Ilya Juan Salkind Domínguez (/ ˈ s æ l k aɪ n d /; born July 27, 1947), usually known as Ilya Salkind, is a Mexican film and television producer, known for his contributions to three of the four live-action Superman films of the 1970s and 1980s alongside his father, Alexander Salkind.
The celebrity couple amicably parted ways at the end of 1999. Ilya, now based in LA and having formed The Ilya Salkind Company, Inc., is completing the company's first film, Born to be Great (2010) , recently shot in Egypt and Greece about the young Alexander the Great.
