Bruce A. Young is an American actor who portrayed M.B. Nash in Jurassic Park III. He is best known for his role as Capt. Simon Banks on "The Sentinel".
In a 2014 interview Bruce talked about being eaten by the Spinosaurus in Jurassic Park III, and being the very first character to die in the movie which he described as being a great bit of comedy. The role came to him when he got a phone call asking him if he wanted to be part of the movie, and he accepted happily given that he is a big fan of science fiction. The script for the movie changed many times, and there were a few versions which led to deleted scenes. Bruce describes the scene when the Spinosaurus stuck it's head in the plane to get him as a very cool scene which was filmed backwards, because it couldn't be done safely. He described the cast as being great to work with, and he went back to the set and watch the rest of the scenes being filmed which was a great experience. His favorite scene was the skydiving scene off the cliffs by the Pteranodon cage.
