The New Legends of Monkey is a television series co-produced between the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, New Zealand's TVNZ, and Netflix. In the series, Tripitaka, a valiant, teenage girl, liberates the Monkey King — a god long trapped in stone — in a quest to find seven sacred scrolls and save the world from evil.
The New Legends of Monkey. With the rebels scattered and the fate of the sacred scrolls still at stake, Monkey realizes he's his own worst enemy - in more ways than one. The rebel army ignores Tripitaka's warning and ends up regretting it while on the battlefield.
