St George's School, Ascot is an independent girls' boarding and day school in Ascot, Berkshire, England. It was founded as a boys' school but later became a girls' school.
Term Dates. All school days begin at 8.15 am. The last day of autumn term ends after the Carol Service, the spring term ends after the Spring Term Awards, and the Summer Term ends after Prize Giving. Exeats and half terms commence from 4.00 pm on Friday.

The rich history of St George’s masterfully illustrates how education for women developed and flourished throughout the 20th century. Whilst it was founded as a prestigious boys’ prep school in 1877, the turn of the century brought a new owner and a new identity, as a finishing school for girls, infamous for their red cloaks and boater hats.
