Our Trust. Team North West Anglia provide local care, for local people across North Cambridgeshire, South Lincolnshire and beyond. We were formed on 1 April 2017 and operate three busy hospital sites – Peterborough City Hospital, Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Stamford and Rutland Hospital.
Our Foundation Trust status means we operate independently of central Government controls and this gives us the ability to take our own decisions so we can respond directly to local needs, designing services to meet them and, if necessary, borrowing and raising money to fund them.
North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust was formed on 1 April 2017 from the acquisition of Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust by Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It runs Peterborough City Hospital, Stamford and Rutland Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
