Post Animal is an American psychedelic rock band formed in 2014, originating from Chicago, Illinois. It consists of Dalton Allison (bass/vocals), Jake Hirshland (guitar/keyboard/vocals), Javi Reyes (guitar/vocals), Wesley Toledo (drums/vocals), and Matt Williams (guitar/vocals).
Biography. Wesley Toledo began playing drums at the age of 5 years old. His father, also a drummer, mentored him throughout his childhood and into his teen years. Growing up he gained experience playing drums in church and at the age of 14 he joined his first band.
Apr 20, 2018 · Rounding out the band’s lineup, Post Animal is completed by drummer Wesley Toledo and guitarists Javi Reyes and Joe Keery. Like most band’s in Chicago’s inclusive music community, Post Animal got their start playing DIY basements and small rock clubs.
