Jimmy Thomas (January 20, 1939 – April 25, 2022) was an American soul singer and songwriter. He was best known as a vocalist for Ike Turner. Thomas joined Turner's Kings of Rhythm in 1958, and remained with the band when the Ike & Tina Turner Revue was formed in 1960.

US soul singer, (born 20 January 1939 in Osceola, Arkansas. died, 25 April 2022) who relocated to the UK in the early 1970s and settled in England. He owns the label Osceola Records. Joined Kings of Rhythm in 1958 and worked with Ike and Tina Turner and The Ikettes until the mid-1960's.

Aug 1, 2022 · The death of James ‘Jimmy’ Thomas, President and Co-Founder of The Hippodrome Casino, London, has been announced. After a short illness, Jimmy died in his sleep on the morning of Saturday, 30 July at the London Clinic with members of his family present. He was 88.
