Beniamino Gigli (1890-1957) was an Italian opera singer and one of the greatest tenors of his generation. He sang in many famous operas, such as Lucia di Lammermoor, La Bohème and Andrea Chénier, and was known as "Caruso Secondo" or "Gigli Primo".
