Battle of Thermopylae, where the King of Sparta led his army against the advancing Persians; the battle is said to have inspired all of Greece to band together against the Persians, and helped usher in the world's first democracy.
300 This is a graphic retelling of the ancient battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive army. Their valour and sacrifice against insurmountable odds inspire Greece to unite against their Persian enemy.
