Nov 14, 2021 · I really liked "Chain of Evidence" the movie. It was well worth the time spent watching it. There are more Bill Elliott (the star) movies and I recommend them all.

A police lieutenant fights to prove a boy's innocence after he's accused of murder. The fourth of five Ben Schwab productions that starred Bill Elliott as a detective lieutenant in the L.A. Sheriff's department.
Now traipsing around Southern California without an identity, James takes on a fake identity after a flirtatious waitress (an amusingly pathetic Meg Randall) decides that he reminds her of her first love, and ends up as a handyman for wealthy Ross Elliott whose trampy wife (Tina Carver) is carrying on with one of his best friends (John Bleifer).
