Plot. In the small town of Timberline, Oregon, a domesticated grizzly bear named Boog lives with his adoptive caretaker, a park ranger named Beth, who has raised him since he was a cub, and spends his days as the star attraction of the town's nature show.
Open Season is a series of animated films and spin-offs about a grizzly bear and a deer in a forest. The series includes four films, a short film, a TV series, and a video game.

Sep 29, 2006 · Boog, a domesticated 900lb. Grizzly bear finds himself stranded in the woods 3 days before Open Season. Forced to rely on Elliot, a fast-talking mule deer, the two form an unlikely friendship and must quickly rally other forest animals if they are to form a rag-tag army against the hunters.
