Koji Kondo (Japanese: 近藤 浩治, Hepburn: Kondō Kōji, August 13, 1961) is a Japanese music composer, pianist, and sound director for the video game company Nintendo. He is best known for his many contributions to the Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda series of video games, among others produced by the company.
Koji Kondo is a long-time sound director and composer at Nintendo and a Senior Officer at Nintendo EPD. As one of the most popular music composers for video games, his most known works are featured in franchises like Mario, The Legend of Zelda and Star Fox series.
