Mark Gustafson (September 19, 1959 – February 1, 2024) was an American animator and film director, best known for co-directing Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio (2022), which won Best Animated Feature at the 95th Academy Awards.
Mark Gustafson (1959-2024) was a claymation pioneer who worked on projects such as Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, Claymation Easter and A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas. He won an Oscar for his work on The Adventures of Mark Twain and was the lead animator for Return to Oz.
