Marcus Samuelsson (born Kassahun Tsegie; Amharic: ካሳሁን ፅጌ 25 January 1971) is an Ethiopian-born Swedish-American celebrity chef, restaurateur and television personality. He is the head chef of Red Rooster in Harlem, New York.
Samuelson is an Executive Producer and director of Route24, [citation needed] an independent television production company founded with Robert Cheek and Josie Law. ITV Studios Global Entertainment own a minority stake in the company.
