Feb 1, 2024 · Santander online banking is down this morning. There have been multiple reports on downdetector.co.uk and on the Santander X site. Santander say they are aware and are working on it but also that the app is working fine. I can concur with that having just logged into the app. MACKEM99 Posts: 963 Forumite.

I'm trying to open a Paypal account linked to my Santander bank account but it's asking for the address of my bank on the direct debit form. I opened the bank account over the phone to bank online and whilst I have a card, account number and sort code, I have no address details.

Sep 23, 2024 · I only have experience of transferring a maturing Santander fixed rate ISA away to another provider but as that went smoothly, I wouldn't expect there to be any issues with an internal transfer. It may just take a day or so for the new account to show in online banking.

Feb 15, 2022 · OTP by email for FPS payments in Santander online banking now available for EXISTING PAYEES. Started working once my (mobile) phone numbers had been removed (via telephone banking). Can't comment about online shopping payments with card. I found it arbitrary to get Santander to allow OTP by email.

I simply can't log in half the time. It refuses my login - I know it's definitely 100% correct, but it simply won't accept my details. Works some days and not others.
Feb 7, 2012 · Thank you all for your advice, I guess I'll be winding up my banking with a company that doesn't care enough for my custom to make internet service a continuing possibility. It was great while it lasted - (even in their previous incarnation as Abbey National there were plenty of customer service on-line banking glitches) - free business accounts being pretty hard to come by.
