I'm wondering if/how I can take an old phone of mine and turn it into my only phone when I run. Currently using an iphone, and through research I'm seeing I won't be able to take my phone or port my number unless my father (who owns the plan) approves (because that's how t-mobile rolls), so I've accepted I'll have to let it all go when I run.

3 days ago · Consequently, I have ruled out the SIM card / Network provider as the issue, and I am now desperate to get this to work so that I can make reliable phone calls. In the good old days, a simple root, change of variables and some string code additions would do the trick to activate VOLTE permanently, but that cannot be done with the newer ASUS devices now.
4 days ago · Sounds like your daughter might now have two iD contracts, @Em1990 . If the ‘old’ SIM fits in the new phone, it should work, but you might’ve ended up with two active iD contracts.
