2 days ago · Re: Restoring all settings to default. First, make a library backup (File > Library > Back up) and put it somewhere safe. This way you can go back if you want. You can clear your library from File > Library. This removes the files and playlists from the library (but not the physical files on disk).

5 days ago · 1. Make a Library Backup. Uninstalling MC won't remove the backups, but you may want to have a copy of this one in a separate location for peace of mind. 2. Uninstall MC completely, including the Registry entries. Leave the Library in place. The Windows uninstaller works fine. 3. Reboot then reinstall MC26.
