But when he threw me the 'used vehicle order form' and asked me to sign it, I could not find where the warranty was stated in the form and its terms and conditions.

Any dealer is legally responsible for ensuring they have full title to any vehicle they sell, and if you do happen to buy one from them that did have a dodgy history, you would be entitled to compensation.

Their policy is to transfer cars to your local dealer for free (well I actually had to pay £200, which is refundable even if I don't end up buying the car). Having done this, they know im seriously considering the car and that I must be keen!
