The current agreement (annual boiler service, boiler controls cover, central heating cover, plumbing and drains cover and unlimited breakdown callouts and boiler claims) comes to an end at the end of August, but it has increased by £100 a year (to £610).

Aug 18, 2023 · On August 3rd my balance was £641.30 in credit. My quarterly bill was due around this time (usually the 5th), but i did not receive one until the 14th. The bill was for £103.37. My balance now is only £403.52 in credit. £237.78 would actually be a more typical quarterly bill for me, even with the price increases.
Jul 12, 2023 · I called them asking for a refund on my gas account of £2300. They flat out refused to issue the refund saying I owe too much for the coming months. I don't get how that works because if I was paying too less why would I be so far in credit. They throw a load of numbers at you to try confuse you. Nov 6, 2023 · British Gas have moved me to their new accounting system. On the latest bill I have a new account number & there is no detail for how to pay by faster payment. Looked at my bank for a new payee and my new 9 digit reference doesn't fit with the verified British Gas payees. It looks as though I have to phone up and pay by debit card which is daft.
Mar 29, 2020 · I'm struggling to get in contact with British Gas as they are only accepting emergency calls, and following the procedure online seems to indicate I'll get caught up in a new contract with them (which I don't want as there are early leaving fees). Any help would be much appreciated - thanks.
