Jun 3, 2024 · British Airways | Executive Club - Boarding Pass revamp - Downloaded a PDF from online check-in this morning and much to my surprise it seems to have been revamped:
6 days ago · If you had tried to check in on line I guess the same would have happened, it’d say that you need to show your passport to get a boarding pass. I could be wrong but that’s a procedure that’s pretty common when a doc check is required.
Jun 4, 2024 · The old downloaded BP was named with the flight number, date, airport codes and sequence number which was useful when filing the pdfs in one folder – the new ones are named "boarding_pass.pdf" ones and need naming manually where multiple BPs are filed in the same folder.
Jun 11, 2024 · I never once have been able to get boarding passes to work in the BA app. But, you probably also have document checks required - so some airlines (BA for sure) doesn't like you doing an in-app validation, or printing/viewing ANY of your boarding passes without visiting the checkin counter.

Jun 3, 2024 · With this app, you're producing boarding passes, which lets one through security and onto the aircraft. I'd disagree back... We could head fully into OMNI pretty quickly with this - but actually there's a back end validation that the QR code is as it should be before one can get through any of the touch points.
