May 26, 2007 · The official government figures are out and Aberdeen house price fall has been steeper this month. The YoY fall was -6% in Oct'18 and in the latest HPI, its further lowered to -6.6% ! Aberdeen and Glasgow average prices now seperated by under 10k. Aberdeen city average price. October'17: £166,772.

May 26, 2007 · John MacRae, chairman of the board of directors of ASPC, has called these signs “invigorating” and adds that March this year saw the highest volume of traffic ever recorded on aspc.co.uk, Aberdeen’s most well-known property site. However he cautions against any rash action, and reiterated that we are not out of the woods just yet.
Feb 11, 2022 · anything bought in aberdeen in 2019 has falling, not a shed or a mansion has risen in the worst 3 years of property drops ever seen in aberdeen. wishfull thinking on your friends part and plucked out the air figures are not hard cash in the bank. i suggest your friend puts his house on the market for the price he mentions and see what happens.
May 26, 2007 · Figures released by Aberdeen Solicitors’ Property Centre (ASPC) show house prices in Aberdeen City and suburbs fell by 3.9% between the final quarter of 2018 and 2019. The picture is similar in Aberdeenshire, with house prices in Inverurie and Stonehaven down by 2.8% and 4.6% respectively between 2018 and 2019.

May 26, 2007 · Continued reductions in average TTLs in Aberdeen have now filtered through to rents in the city, now posting positive annual growth of 0.7% to average up to £714 per month. The steepest drops in TTL were once again for the larger 3 and 4 bed properties in high demand accompanied by growth of 9.5% and 1.2% respectively.

While OPEC may make further cuts, if prices fall further, ie. below $70 per barrel and stay there for over six months, it could lead to another downturn in Aberdeen, similar to 2015-16.
