Aug 15, 2023 · Windows and MacOS has different format and that is why you are observing this behavior, Mac uses HFS+ and Windows use NTFS . Check the Disk 1 Partition 1 size and see if that is your hard disk. Then backup your data in the MacOS as you will need to format it in Windows.

Sep 10, 2015 · I have a Toshiba MK3252GSX (HDDR320E03X) 320GB external USB hard drive. After upgrading to Windows 10 (64-bit) about a month ago, the hard drive is no longer recognized. The hard drive is plug and play, it worked flawlessly on Windows 7 (64-bit). I've searched the net and several forums for solutions, but to no avail.
Feb 22, 2021 · Try disabling the Toshiba Optical Disk Drive Service and then remove and reinstall the optical drive. Windows Key + R > type services.msc in the "Open" box > OK. In the right window scroll down to the "TOSHIBA Optical Disk Drive Service" and double-click the "TOSHIBA Optical Disk Drive Service" and then set the "Startup type" to "Disabled" > OK.
