Aug 25, 2022 · The Devil All The Time. So I just finished watching Good Time (2017) which I absolutely loved. I thought it was a really cool movie with a great atmosphere and vibe about it. One of the things I enjoyed the most about it was Robert Pattinson’s Performance, he was unnervingly creepy and manipulative and I thought he really nailed the role.

Starts off with nearly an hour of heartstring-plucking miseryporn, turns into a mildly interesting drama for 35 minutes, then back to more death and flails its way to a laughable conclusion. Oct 9, 2020 · The movie fluctuated from pacing too slow to quite quickly rather confusingly which in turn did not allow the characters to get the adequate amount of screen time to flush out their development and stories. I did think the acting and the cast as a whole was very well done, and they all did an excellent job, as well as the dialogue.

Sep 16, 2020 · The devil all the time. Wow. I was kind of blown away with this one. It's strange because the narrative is a little all of the place but all in all, it holds together pretty tightly. Tom Holland has a bright future ahead of him. And Robert Pattinson, although he doesnt have a lot of screen time, also delivers a great performance.

Mar 8, 2024 · Some fun facts. The author of the source book is also the narrator in the movie, Donald Ray Pollack. He's local to my small Ohio town (same town that part of the movie is set in (it's Chillicothe Ohio but it's renamed Mead Ohio in the movie/book, which comes from the name of the local Paper Plant that the town is based around).
