Feb 12, 2012 · Bel Preston had a drapers shop at no. 29 King Street from the 1940's-1970 it was called Vanity Fair at one time. 9. Evening everyone, my grandmother was born and brought up in York Street. She moved to Scotland in the 1950's after she married my grandad. Her parents when first wed lived at 42 Chesterton Street, before moving round the corner to York Street her dad Joseph was a labourer at the Bobbin works.

Feb 2, 2008 · hi can anyone tell me about st anne st please. i have just found out my dad lived there when he came over from the isle of man as a little kid.(1945/6) his father had stables there because he had shire horses for his cart, where would these stables be? any help is really appreciated thanks
