Jul 18, 2014 · Yes we do. For 64-bit machines our free site installs both the 32 and 64-bit JRE versions so the Java plugin works with 32-bit web browsers. Ninite Pro can select those independently. With the 64-bit JRE just getting skipped on 32-bit machines, of course. Reply reply.

Yes ninite is legit and very useful for installing multiple programs at once. its 100 percent legit and at least you know the programs are the proper ones not dodgy which you may get by googling them. We do not support cleaners, debloaters, or booster software of any kind as they damage the operating system.

Aug 10, 2018 · Ninite is the most popular "package manager" for Windows, but I didn't like the limited selection. I moved to PatchMyPc Updater , which has a much larger selection and automatically detects installed programs.
Kind of like Ninite, but free, and has over 300 programs and can run on a schedule. Also if you decide you don't want a program anymore, you can unselect it, you don't have to go back to the website to customise it. Ninite is shit and has been for a while. It's an interesting idea, but PatchMyPC just does everything better and doesn't charge ...

Feb 27, 2016 · The short answer is that Ninite never gave us a reason not to trust them. Plenty of security experts have gone over it, and Ninite never includes anything in the installer you don't ask for. The moment they do, you will see tons of posts on this sub and all over the internet to stop using them. A win-win situation.
Jan 21, 2022 · Ninite alternatives? My issue with Ninite is it doesn't have support for Kaspersky Total Security which is the AM I use. I recommend chocolatey for installing a selection of programs in 1. winget is great if you're comfortable with the command line, although it can't handle apps distributed in zip files yet.
